It’s a wonderful feeling when my previous clients (and now friends) Lauren + Mike refer me to their friends. I knew instantly that I was going to meet an amazing couple. Katerine + Michael were warm, genuine and really fun to work with. They entrusted me completely and allowed me to be creative and were up for anything. Despite the cold weather, we had a few breaks in the clouds so we took advantage of the natural sunshine whenever possible. After Katerine’s prep at The Doctor’s House, we set up a 1st look – which I just love to photograph! Both K+M shared a beautiful moment and it was wonderful to capture their reactions of surprise and awe all at the same time.
The ceremony took place in the intimate chapel which lies on the grounds of The Doctor’s House. This allowed all of their guests to attend and witness their sentimental and romantic vows. It’s a tradition of the chapel to have the newlyweds ring the chapel bell together after their ceremony and I love how they still incorporate this old tradition.
The festivities continued with entertaining and sentimental speeches followed by a full dance floor to each tune. This wedding was a complete joy to photograph and officially kicked off my 1st wedding of 2018!
I’m so excited for what this year brings and honoured to be able to capture these important milestones in my couple’s lives. Congratulations to K+M, you guys are amazing and I wish you all the best on your new journey in life together!
