It’s always an honour to be able to capture a wedding but to be asked to come along to the beautiful Luxury Bahia Principe in Dominican Republic its truly humbling and exciting. You may remember Katelyn + Akhil’s Milton Escarpment engagement session which was adventurous and incredibly fun. We brought that same energy and passion to the gorgeous DR. The day started off with the groomsmen having casual drinks, cigars and plenty of laughs. Followed by a serene and intimate getting ready portraits in a private bridal suite with Katelyn, mom and her bridesmaids. The sunset ceremony and reception was overlooking the ocean in a private setting so they had the company of their own loved ones only…which was great! When all festivities had ended and the final drinks poured – the entire wedding party and majority of the guests decided to cool off in their private pool. I just couldn’t resist getting some great action shots – just hilarious. I was even convinced by the bride + groom to jump in with them…see last pic 🙂
