On this beautiful and warm day in May, I had the pleasure of making memories for Asma + Marlon. I just love cultural weddings as they bring so much colour, passion and love.
I especially felt the love during the Rukhsati (send off). This is a sombre occasion for the bride’s parents as it marks the departure of their daughter from their home. The departure of Asma became a very emotional scene as she said farewell to the home of her parents and siblings to start a new married life with Marlon. The final prayer given by her mom was special and I’m glad I captured such a candid moment for them. Here are some of my favourites from their day.
